Theertha Biopharma Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in Bengaluru in 2019 by professionals from product development, quality, regulatory affairs and business development — founded on the view that programmes move faster when the science and the documentation come from the same team.
01 — Origin
Why we exist
We kept seeing the same failure mode: a promising molecule slowed down not by science, but by handoffs. A cloning vendor, then a separate analytical lab, then a formulation group, then a manufacturing site — each producing a data package the next one has to re-derive.
Theertha was built to remove those seams. The people who develop your clone can characterize it, scale it, formulate it and hand it to manufacturing with a documentation trail that has been continuous from the first construct.

How we work
Every programme runs on integrated R&D. Our disciplines work directly with your stakeholders rather than passing work between silos, which keeps timelines short and the paper trail consistent.
Our laboratories are equipped for fermentation, chromatography, HPLC/UPLC, RT-PCR and cell culture — the instrumentation base required for serious offshore biologics and biosimilar collaboration.
